Day 3

Day 3 of the rain downpour. I dont think it was as bad as they were making
it sound, mind you anytime there is alot of rain here in California
everyone seems to go into panic mode. I think Im used to it from living in
Florida when the skies would open up and dump buckets on us! This, I can
handle!
This is the kind of weather that makes me want to have a big pot of something
hot and yummy cooking on the stuff yet so far today Ive eaten, reheated
lasagna from lastnight, two salted caramels from Trader Joes, and a little
coffee cake from the Hostess day old bread store, the kind my mom use to buy
for me when I was little that I loved SO much, you know, the ones with the
little balls of cinnamon all over the top of them? mmmmmmmm!
I love going to that bread store, its like im 12 again, going there and
shopping with my mom for the school. Those were the days. We would go there
and Smart and Final.
The kids got released from school early today because of the weather, a tree
fell on one of the teachers cars apparently...yikes!
Anyways, these pictures are from yesterday, Im a day behind.






Did you watch American Idol lastnight? Im really liking the voice of the younger
dude who spent four years in the Alabama Slammah, for robbing a bank with a bb gun.
Im quite sure he learned his lessons and really wishes he could take back the whole
Fun with Dick and Jane approach to filling boredom.
Anyways...I really like his voice, I hope he does well.

Me and Lucas put up a little Valentines sumthin sumthin yesterday, to try to
get into the spirit to love :) Kidding, that should just be there everyday.
I do like Valentines Day though, not like crazy love, I just think that its an ok
holiday, shame its slowly being ruined by the mass overload of crap they sell at
the stores now that people think they need to buy in order to feel as though
they have loved, and have been loved. {but look, I sold out, I bought some little
decorations at Michaels, for 3 whole doll hairs!}
