[watching Hells Kitchen, Talking to Debby and making something for Sofia]
Lucas came into the livingroom where Nico and I were sitting and he
was covered in marker...except he had his arms hidden behind his back,
thinking that Nico and I wouldn't notice. We asked him what happened and
he said, "OHhhhh my toe hurts"!! Clever kid trying to change the subject.
He never did come clean but about that time, Corbin walked thru the
livingroom and said, "OH, by the way, Lucas had a marker.." NO KIDDING!!??
We told him obviously Lucas had a marker.
Fast forward about an hour later.
I got up to go to bed, Nico was still closing up the house for the
night, I walked down the hallway passed the den, looked in and this is
what was said, "Ohhhhhhhhhhhh my Lordddddddddddddddddddd" mind you I said
it once when I noticed the first tagging, then as I looked around, ALOT more
"OH my lords" left my mouth, yet they got louder and louder. Loud enough to
send Brenna running out of her room from a deep sleep. She came in, looked
around and started laughing. She said Im sorry but I cant help it. Its funny.
My 3 yr old has started his life of crime early. He is a tagger.
He wrote on everything in the den...with a SHARPIE!
I mean everything. A sheet, the tv, the tv stand, the walls, pictures, frames,
lampshade, the printer, Nicos computer monitor, the lightswitch cover...
and then..sitting off in the corner, completely unmarked..was the chair I
found on the side of the road last summer.
Anyone have tips on removing Sharpie from flatscreen tv's?
Someone told me to take a dry-erase marker and write over the sharpie
and wipe it off and that it would work.
Here is to crossing all fingers toes and everything else that this works!
The crimescene evidence
Look at the little marker weilding perpetrator lying in bed looking oh so
innocent...all snuggled up fast asleep. Look the perps dad sheilding him
from the paparazzi..."No cameras please..."

oh no. oh no no no no no!!!!! Amy.... with Sharpie??? I am almost crying - I have been there SO MANY TIMES!!! Now i keep sharpies on top of the fridge with the matches and the lighter! Did you get any of it out? I do remember rubbing Aaron's computer screen (brand new) so hard to get out pen that I bust a little hole in it... be careful. I wouldn't put any more marker over it... maybe call Sharpie and give them hell for creating such a STUPID product??!
ReplyDeleteYou know what worked? And took it right off? A little dab of hairspray on a rag...it came right off the tv screen and the computer...so PHEW! I don't think Im going to get it off of everything but...at least we dont have to watch tv in the den with Lucas' artwork all over it!
