I've got a fever, and the only cure is more cowbell.
K no, not really..the only cure is more Postal Service.
I have come to love them oh so much over the past couple
of weeks. The first time I heard them I thought..hmmm
cack, but then...we..and we being me and The Postal Service
bonded over a sweet song called, "Nothing Better"
I will get the song and put it on here for your listening
enjoyment.
So this past week has been complete madness! MADNESS I TELL YOU!
All good stuff though, it's awesome being so busy to be honest.
Busy means I'm being productive and things are happening and that can
never be a bad thing. Although in getting so busy, certain things have
to take a backseat to those things which make me busy..like my poor little
blog...sometimes I feel guilt ridden when I close my eyes at night and I
realise I never typed not a letter on it. [ok maybe a little over dramatic
but I do feel as though I need to make pitstops by this little place in my
life often enough to vent, clear the air, share a song, rant and rave..etc]
I have to show you this video.
It's Brenna and my two nieces Lana and Jordan, and Lucas makes an appearance
as well.
They kill me.
[just to make things clear they don't necessarily endorse
all of the lovely things she sings of in this song...it's a song
people, just enjoy the three beauties in it]
Guess what?
We have a candycane napper in our house. Im not quite sure who it is
exactly, but all I know is I keep replenishing and they keep
disappearing. I love having a toddler in the house. The past three years
we decorate the tree, it looks lovely the first day and by the end
of that day...most of the ornaments are moved to the top of the tree
so that Lucas cant take them off so our poor tree looks buggered.
So far so good this year...fingers crossed..our only worry is...
where are all of the candycanes going?
Nico caught Lucas sneaking one the other night, except, Lucas thinks that
Nico didnt see him sneaking it because Lucas covered his own eyes while
he reached into the tree for a candy cane. He thinks if his eyes are covered,
then so are ours. Clever kid.
I have a photo session with my family.
Gino and Susan!
It's going to be fun and it's going to rock.
That's all there is to it!
We are going to San Diego this weekend because I have about 6 sessions
over the course of two days, Nico gets to come this time so we are
going to go have dinner with friends and just hang out. I'm excited!
-much love-
xo
