post some pictures first and talk alittle about my day.
I woke up early this morning and went walking...I should have
brought my camera because things are so different looking first
thing in the morning, everything always seems so clean and crisp.
Ever notice how you notice so much more around you when you are
walking rather than stuck behind the wheel of a car? I love it.
I noticed every single thing about every single yard in my
neighborhood. I just enjoyed it, seeing different things inspired
me to try a few different things in my own yard, or to my house..
Copy cat? No, just an admirer :)
I don't know what it was after my walk though, I came home in such a
good mood, took the kids to school, came home and then went down into
the dumps. I think I would have stayed right in that place for the whole
rest of the day had I not been reminded that right now there is a lovely
couple fighting for their lives in a burn unit, seperated from their 4 little
chickens and from one another. Just like that, I snapped out of it.
#1 because I thought, I have so much to be thankful for, and no reason to be
down in the dumps about nothing in particular.
#2 because I have my whole family alive and well, breathing on their own
without the help of machines etc.
I think ever since I read the unfortunate events that happened to The Neilsons
I have prayed and thought about them every single day in one way or another.
I don't think they realise how much the two of them, from hospital beds, and
basically medically enduced comas, have helped so many souls..what an
encourament they have been, how much love can endure, how far we can be tested
and still come out loving our Savior.
I didnt mean for this blog to be all about this however like I said, the thought
of their family seems to have taken over. Always in my thoughts and prayers.
Here are a few piccies from the day.. this is my life.
Here is a little glimpse of life outside my frontdoor.. I love love love
this time of year! I am in love with even the air. Really...I am!!

some me and Lucas crazy time in my room this afternoon. We were meant to be taking
a rest..although it turned more into eating carab covered sunflower seeds [bought
at the amazing Winco] and bouncing around on my bed being a silly nilly.

My little Dom right after school, he came in the door and sat in the room with
Lucas and I for awhile and had a little talk about school and such.

Lucas rollin with his froggies..

goodnight xo
p.s. why does Caleb owe me a broom? Because I had JUST gotten a new pushbroom
for my giant driveway, and he broke it! Grrrrrrr
